Question Wrong BB's in Aftermath Broxa

Hi there... just jumping on for the first time... my son just bought himself an Aftermath Broxa two days ago (with his own money and he waited for it to come in for 3 weeks)... and since he was a little eager, he didn't read the instructions carefully and we've now discovered (since the barrel is now plugged with a couple of BB's near where the magazine comes in) that he was using the wrong size BB's... namely .12G instead of either .20G or .25G :banghead:
Anyone have any suggestions please as to how to get the stuck BB's out of there?!?! I've tried prying them out, gently of course, but I'm a little afraid of wrecking it too!
THANK YOU!!

.12gr or .20gr BB's are the same size, 6mm. What he was using was lighter weight BB's, generally the crap you buy from Canadian Tire that come in plastic jugs of 5,000 or more.

Your gun should have come with a long plastic rod that is used when there are BB jams, or for when you want to clean the barrel.

Generally the crap .12gr BB's are not perfect BB's in terms of shape and generally get jammed. Using higher quality seamless and polished BB's from .20gr and up is better for your gun.

I've tried pushing the rod in from the barrel opening, but they still seem jammed... and yes, I think he did get them from Wally-Mart or something.
Good to know regarding grain vs. mm... makes sense.

Not sure if I'm posting this right... but what is a 'unjamming rod'?? is it different than the cleaning rod? if so, where do you get one?
Thanks!

Take the magazine out and peek up into the hopup (that nozzle where the BBs go) they might be jammed up there.

That is where they're jammed (two of them)... where the magazine is... and unfortunately my son left the manual at school yesterday, so I'm not sure of the terminology... Can I put oil in there, then try firing a couple of times?.. Is it okay to be oil in there?

make sure the hop-up is off, if I recall for mp5 to turn it completely off you have to point it towards the barrel. If the unjamming rod doesnt work poking from the barrel, try poking into the magazine slot. sit the gun upright so gravity will help drop the bb's stuck from the magazine then poke it out with the unjaming rod.

I can see one green one in the 'hopup' when I remove the magazine, and when I look down the barrel, I can see a red one jammed way down there.... (

Does the cocking lever have any bearing or effect depending on whether it pulled back or left forward?
Thanks re: hop-up lever going forward... This is crazy!! It seems so simple cuz I can see them, but they're not moving! ;(
