m16 problem

I have a barrel wobble problem, before you guys say faq it, the wobble doesnt come from the clamp that holds the outer barrel in place. When you take off the delta ring, there is another ring underneath that screws and tightens all of the barrel assembly. I have tightened it as much as i can with my hands and it still wobbles, not as much as before but still enough to bother me. I as wondering before I go over kill with some vice grips if I will strip any threads or snap something. Is it necessary to tighten the ring under the delta ring alot?

it is necessary to make it as tight as possible, but if it still wobbles like that, sounds like there may be a problem with that ring itself, or maybe with your receiver. check out both where they meet and see if there are any issues with either.

Try putting some spacers in.
