Para Ordnance GBB - BBs dropping?
Well I haven't fired my WA Para until I got my AI kit. Well I've been running propane with silicone, and eveything in the gun looks okay.
No damages, no wears. And I dry fired it, and it looks like it's pretty damn strong. I load in .20 bbs in it. Shoot, and the BBs just drop out after every shot taken. Why is that? Some of the times, like 1/30 shots, 1 BB would shoot as supposed to. |

double loading or loose hop-up(maybe oil in the hop-up?). At least when this happens on my TM those are the cause....never had a WA though...

Hmm, I was thinking about the hop-up.. Well I'm going to clean it out and take it apart again. It doesn't double load, that is forsure.

Your hopup's probably set too high. Take the slide off and use an allen key on the underside of the chamber, but be extremely careful... overtighting is REALLY easy to do and you'll either strip the threads or bust the rubber. Give it 90° CW and test again; the WA hopup design is super sensitive.

Okay thanks.
I took it apart again, and I tried to turn the hop-up. Looks like the previous owner had tightened it too much and it broke. And it feels like when I'm turning the hop-up screw, it's really not there? What allen screw size should I use? Here's the pics. The pin is still in there. The rubber piece on the end where the bb is held, I took it off to show the damages. |

Figure out which parts are broken, order replacements, and have a qualified tech install them. Old WA guns are the epitome of finicky and fragile.

This means I need a new hop-up set? Just the Part 8 (SVA-008) is broken.. I don't even know what that part is called. My manual is typed in Japanese..
Could someone help me out with Part 8? *EDIT I found it at WGC. Quote:

Don't quote me on it but I don't think pre-SCW guns have hopup units... The piece of rubber is to prevent the chambered bb from falling down the barrel...

Oh and as for the hole you tried to adjust the "hopup" its used to remove the retainer ring that holds the barrel...

Magna/Pre-SCW WA guns definitely do have hopup.
