KJW P14 Barrel
A buddy of mine has had his KJW P14 for a while now. He's stopped using it because apparently, the barrel comes loose whenever he fires it. Apparently to the point where if he tilted the gun foward, the barrel would slide off. I did a search on google and on here, no cigar. It seems to be a version 1, because I asked him to take it apart, and he said it didn't have a hop up. Any ideas?

Try to determine whether the outer barrel or the chamber has lost its threading. You'd be looking at some sort of aftermarket part for early model Western Arms P14 upon which the KJ is based.
In theory, stock Western Arms parts would also work, with sources for getting that being people who've upgraded to aftermarket parts. WA don't retail spares and KJ spares are generally limited to their most recent releases.

Update: Apparently, as stupid as it sounds, the rear sight gets shaken loose when the gun is fired, too. Though he says that it doesn't actually fall off, and same with the barrel. It just becomes very loose. No issues with the actual firing, and the hammer works properly. We don't know if any of the parts will actually come out or off with repeated firing.

Threading appears to be fine. Maybe the barrel didn't fit properly well to begin with? Doesn't explain the sights, though.

The rear sites on the P14 are known to come loose. They can be tightened with a hex key.

I recommend teflon tape. It worked when I had a threaded barrel for mine that was loose.
