I have the same problem too
I unscrewed the bottom spring cover, pulled out the spring, gave it a quick spritz of silicone spray, replaced everything, and ran some bbs in and out. If you hold it up to a light, you can see the practically 90 degree turn that bbs take, that plus a double stacked design = trouble. I find if you only load ~70 bbs in, it sometimes works. If anyone has a more permanent solution, id love to hear it cuz this pisses me off too |

I have this problem as well. I'm not entirely sure if I'm remembering correctly but I did some "research" on these mags and I was told that it's a matter of patience, keep reloading and unloading and it'll work the spring in. Unfortunately I can't find the post/pm that said this.
I haven't tried this yet and I can't even remember if its for the right mags.

I second the 'working the springs in' option. I had 3 of 10 new mags do this, and all you need to do it to lube it up and work the spring in. I guess that when the spring is new, it is just stiff enough so that it won't coil and uncoil properly around that sharp bend. I re-lubed the springs then fully-loaded and unloaded the mags between 15-20 times, leaving each loaded mag to sit for a couple mins. This worked for 2 out of the three, the third I used as a shell for an older MAG midcap that had broken tabs.

When I had my MAG mags, I found that crappy BBs caused them to jam. They needed a quick slap if that happened.
God I miss my 552. |

I dunno if you've gotten far with your problem but it seems that the 'working the spring in' method works.
Not to mention a good dowsing of silicone oil to the spring and in the mag itself. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=46983

buy TM lowcaps lol
I've heard of people having problems with ALL mag brand magazines, what some people do it pin the back of the spring, you lose 30 rounds of capacity but increase spring tension. Like all other things in airsoft you get what you pay for and unfortunately mags are no exception. |

I bought mainly for aesthetics. They seem to be working now, little bit of work never hurt anyone.

I can't say I like MAG brand magazines much. I have a couple of 100-rounders for my G36, and the damned things spew 80% of thier BB load if they are tapped or bumped ever so slightly. I've lost more BBs from them because they decide to jizz out a white stream of plastic than I've actually shot from them. They don't feed overely well either. I think I'll be replacing them with KA mags next season.
