Broken hop-up?
AEG: Stock, brand new CA G36k
I noticed BBs rolling out of the barrel after nearly each automatic burst. So I I gradually adjusted the hop-up higher and higher, but the BBs still rolled out. I took the gun apart and removed the mechbox so I could have a good look into the barrel. Unless my eyes are playing trick on me, I see no difference between no hop-up and hop-up cranked all the way up. While it's quite visible on my TM M4. It's like if there was no hop-up rubber. Maybe it's stuck? Or is the G36 hop-up chamber built differently? Before I start fiddling with the hop-up chamber, does anyone know where I could get a replacement one? |

you lost your bucking (the smaller black thing) its a little small piece of rubber kinda circular that goes onto the hole that pushes the hopup rubber down |

Take the opportunity to replace the lacklustre stock CA sleeve-nub combo with a superior aftermarket one.

+1. This is a "gift repair", as you are replacing shoddy stock parts with cheap, high-quality aftermarket parts. Get a good hopup sleeve and bucking matched to your velocity.

Are there different types of sleeve and bucking or they are all the same for current AEGs models?
Maybe there was never a bucking in the first place in my G36...I don't think I could have lost it without ever taking the gun apart. Hell, I didn't even clean the barrel yet. |

I use a Systema Bucking and that one's for anything under M120 and lower Velocity.
I've taken the hop up assembly quite forceably and it hasn't stretched out on me like the $3 Guarder bucking. But I'm planning on getting the Prometheous Air Seal one =\ You might wanna take a look at those |

Alright, I got 2 bucking & sleeve units. The clear Guarder and the Prometheus soft type . To make it worth the shipping fees, I also got a Systema inner barrel.

You can find a peice of wire the same size, that'll work at least until you get a replacement. When I first got my used and well worn CA M24, I found no bucking in there, so I improvised by putting a chuck of microphone cable dialectric (the part of the co-axial cable that separates the conductor from the shield), and that worked for me for a few months until I got my new rubber set.

Just try to find one that isn't too hard (best to take the insulation only, use strippers to shed it from the conductor) and is about the same size, roughly 1/8" max and use it. If the wire you choose is too big, you could greatly overhop and not have any control over it.
