MP5 CRISIS!

k, heres my problem. every so often my mp5 sd6 will stop shooting bbs for no reason. theres no signs of jamming, but still forces me to eject the mag and put it in again. sometimes that works for longer but usualy happens again after a few rounds. needless to say its a big pain in the ass. anyone know whats wrong?

send pm if you can help, thanks.

I've had this before. If it's what I think it is, it's a misalignment of the gears with the piston. The piston is being released too early before the bb is set in the chamber. I had the same problem with mine.

Its a common problem with MP5s. I suspect you are filling your mags to the maximum capacity and this is the only time when it doesn't fire? Quick fix is to load 90% of the mag.

Is there a bb jammed in gun? This changes slightly what may be happening.

As Rico said, there's a common problem with overfilling mags which forces the bb's up to quickly.

If it's a highcap mag then it might also be that it's not feeding fast enough/at all and then you get what essentially amounts to dry firing due to no bb being fed into the chamber. Lotsa reasons out there

Need more specifics.

try putting it into auto, then safe, then back into auto. I have had a similar problem and sometimes its just a misfeed

With TM lowcaps, filling full will cause them to only work in full auto, at least for a burst. Semi won't always work right off the bat. So fill your mag, fire a burst then switch to semi.

Other things is you are lacking maintainance. I'd say that is the #1 cause of your misfeeding. Buy some silicon oil, put your unloaded gun upside down, put two drops of oil right in the loading tube, then dry fire a half dozen times. Your gun should perform well for a few thousand shots afterwards.

Or it could be your mags need a lube. Fill one mag with BBs, put a few drops of oil on the top BB and tap the bottom of it t make the oil settle. Unload those BBs, then reload the SAME BBs, then pop them out again. Use those same BBs (because they are covered in oil) for all the rest of your mags. Sometimes mags will need a lube to keep them feeding properly.

the gears can't be misaligned, its an urban myth, the way a gearbox functions everything is aligned properly when you take one shot in semi auto after reassembling the gearbox

if lubing mags and underloading them doesnt work, buy a systema tappet plate, if that doesnt work try this
