My TM M4A1 is shooting weird....
I've had my TM M4A1 for almost a year now... that I got from SpecArms and I've never upgraded anything internal(But HAVE opened up to fix some BB jams, but never touched anything inside but the barrel where the BB was). And now it's starting shoot(or more like the bullet flying to the right side) to the right side, even though I have it aimed at the right place. It's not wind, I know for a fact because I shoot inside and this happens even out side. Since that's the case I've done what most people do. Such as: Cleaning the barrel and taking out/reinserting it back in. and such. But it still keeps shooting to the right. Here's some pictures to help describe whats happening.
My gun Nothing really wrong with it that I can see Here is the target that I've been shooting. Notice that ALL shots are going to the bottom right corner, there are no other shots going on the left half of the sheet. I can fix the elevation myself but the thing is with the gun keep shooting to the right. Right now I can just use the wind adjust to get the aiming right but if when I get more accessories, it will be a real pain to Zero in everytime, and every other time when I get other accessories from another gun. And most of the time it's just simply annoying, especially when I'm not shooting aiming with the Iron sight(Blindfiring or just firing in general direction). Hopefully someone can help me with the problem, I'm sorry I couldn't made the thread any shorter, but I really need help. Thanks |

Well, i wouldn't advertsie that you blindfire, it's looked down upon here. it sounds like your barrel is twisted inside the hopup unit. I would take out the barrel and hopup and check to make sure everything is square. make sure the little flat spots on the barrel are in the right palce when you reassemble your hopup & barrel.

Those reflex sights have both Windage and elevation adjustments don't they?
When you zero your rifle w/o any wind, you should be able to use the windage screw to bring it dead canter?

Thanks Conrad, I readjusted the position of the barrel and now it flies right =)
But I have another question. If I want to upgrade my gun to...say 350FPS, do I just need to buy a new spring? or do I need other stuff too? |

depending on what you want to achive you might need more then a spring, you might need gears, gearbox and "optional" motor. All depends you want to shoot 350 with what wieght of bb. One of the sections talks about upgrades and what to buy to have the desired fps range. Im pretty sure you dont want to change a spring then have your AEG brake because the spring was to strong for the gears or mechbox
