Fatboy Versipack
Anyone tried one before? What do you think about them? Looking to keep all my junk ie wallet and cellphone in it while I play. I don't wear any MOLLE vest/plate carrier. Just a chicom chestrig and a hiking vest, looking to lose the vest for the summer, and need an alternative to keep stuff in.

I know Wheelers, has a sale on them right now. I was thinking about picking one up.

I've got both the Fatboy (khaki, 2nd gen) and a Thermite (OD). Wife now uses the Fatboy as an everyday diaper bag.
I really like it. Lots of space and the newest version has a velcro belt loop to keep it from swinging around on you. If I could get another one I'd definitely do it or perhaps get one of the Monsoon gearslingers instead. |

i've read from other reviews that there are lots of room. But are the room useable? I don't want it to be to compartmentalized as I want to put all kinds of things in there, a tactical man purse for hiking and fishing etc as well as airsoft.

I wouldn't use it for airsoft except perhaps as a dump pouch/holster/id/misc holder combination for CQB/indoors. Definitely wouldn't want it on my body when playing outdoors as I'll already have other gear on. |
