Metal types?

I was oiling up my my KSC Usp (full size), and noticed a rusty colour on the inner frame/hammer/firing pin/anything else metal, and was wondering what type of metal it is.. Is it a zinc-alloy type metal? Does anyone know where I can find the "colour code" of metals?

Thanks

If it rusts, then it is steel. Zinc alloy will not rust.

See, that's what threw me off. It's not rust, it just looks like it. I'll see if I can get some pics up.

Ahhhh! I'm sucha paranoid mo-fo. When I saw that weird redish colour on those metal parts, I thought it was made of some crappy pot-metal shit. Oh, and the gun is a taiwanese type to boot... so... I noticed my WA .45 is made of ALOT higher quality parts (metals).

eh, Gordon, you gotta show me some of those "cheap" parts on the hi-capa... I don't want to invest in something with shitty metals/plastics... I'm planning on picking one up after my BMQ is done

The metal is alright, but at least the entire gun is made in Japan. I havent replaced much of my metal parts yet. My 4.3 is a beast right now. Most of its metal. Aluminum, Steel, and Tokyo Marui's metal.
You can practically full metal. However the internals are not holding up well... The loading nozzle needs to replaced soon. and the hop up packing was defective from manufactoring so I'm looking for a replacement hopup paking.

The 4.3 is a DEFINITE KEEPER. I love that gun, it's classy and badass at the sametime.
