If yo uare like me and LOVE to design and make your own slings.........
I found this instruction page (was looking for info on their new Combat Suspenders to keep your pants on your hips and not around your ankles from gear weight.......... cuz I'm gonna make some. Ain't grandpappy's suspenders by any means, look under products for more detail!
 ) and found a few interesting yet basic (cheap) designs for various threepoint slings, for M-16, M4, AK, and a universal kit, as well as how to attach to the guns.http://www.specopsbrand.com/instructions.asp Enjoy, I am finding it rather interesting! |

Along the same lines,would anyone be interested in an alternative 1 point sling point? I'm refering to the spacer at the rear of the reciever in front of the buttstock. I'm considering designing one, and wanted to get peoples thoughts on it. I can find the means to make a custom spacer out of steel to attach a sling to, but I'm not sure if there is a demand for it.

Well, I finished making my version of this yesterday:
  I used good quality 1" and 1.5" black webbing for it, and about a foot of 1.5" black elastic strap. Is pretty comfortable, allows me to shift and bend my torso without restrictions. Gonna have to get some good 1.5" OD webbing to make an OD one sometime over the winter. |

It is 10 times better than a three point because it hangs in perfect position down the front of your body. And the clip attachment means you can unclip it ready for action if you need to use it in other arm
