How to install a M203 grenade launcher on CA M15A4 tactical carbine ?

Is someone know what I need for the attatchment of a M203 (wich model ?) on a CA M15A4 tactical carbine ?

I think I must first install a rail under the handguard ? Wich one ? And I have the choice beetween the short and the long model M203 ?

Any suggestions ?

There's 2 general types of M203, one hooks onto your barrel and you'll need to take out the bottom part of the handguard. Or there is one that attach to a rail system which you obviously need to replace the stock handguard with a RIS/RAS.

Which brand, you can read the reviews.

Long or short, depends what floats your boat, but long usually goes with the M16, and short goes with M4.

If you want something that looks realistic go for one that attaches to the barrel or if you don't care much for realism and simply want something easy to move around go for the one that attaches to the RIS.

As far as lenght of the M203 goes you would be surprised to see that a lot of the Marines have the 12 inch version mounted on their M4.

Hows this? The installation instructions for the CA M203 (non ris version) Part number for the M15A4 carbine and tactical carbine is P104M

And it on my M15

Mine is the Long M203, although there is also a short one too.

And this RIS version in lond and short

Hope that helps

Now how about mounting a barrel-mount long 203 on an AK? I'm thinking of making a piece out of wood flat on the receiver side with the negative of the 203 on the other.

Any other suggestions?

Get a GP25 or GP30, the AK grenade launcher.

That would actually make it look right. I shall soon have an AK with a 203 grenade launcher, a rail-mounted red dot and a taped on tactical light (and possibly a bayonnet, R.O.E. style). It has to look like the most horrible AK ever built.

actually LMT makes a QD m203. not exactly like the ones being made my airsoft manufactures but simmular. agreed though, the barrel mount does look more real considering how uncommon the LMT version is in the military world.

The quadrant sight is strictly eye candy. I'd be pretty surprised if an airsoft launcher had the gusto to send a projectile 400 meters. That particular model is actually meant to accept a small red dot sight like the Docter Optic or the KA equivalent. It looks cool but I usually leave it off as it's more bulk than necessary.
