p90 not shooting...
iv read through and tried all the fixes to the related problems, but none have worked... my p90 will simply, not let a bb come out the end of the barrel at more than .000001 foot per second. most the time they just get jammed, somewhere near the hopup.. now, iv tried cleaning the barrel, loosening/tightening the hop up, removing the hop up and making sure its 'crap free' etc, but nothing works... someone told me to check the mechbox to see if there was any air coming out of the front of the nozzle.. none what so ever.. what could/is the problem, and a possible easy fix?
thanks for reading. |

air nozzle broken? piston head fell off? gears stripped?
send it to a gun doctor to take a look inside. |

does it make any odd sounds, that can be a excellent indicator.

You don't give enough details for me to even begin to figure it out. Is it making noise? Did it stop working on its own? Did you upgrade it? etc..

ok, the only way i can give an example of the sound, is it sounds as a normal aeg would as shooting, but instead of hearing the 'whip' as it comes out the barrel, it sounds more or less like a jamming 'thud', the mechbox sounds as it would, but not as powerful.... no upgrades were made to the gun, it worked one minute, absolutly fine, then a minute after (a friend put some paintballs in a mag and tried to shoot it) the gun wouldnt work anymore.
im thinking maybe the paintballs were too hard and the nozzle broke, ill get someone to check it out, thanks. |

My guess is one of the 6mm paintball you use !
Was craked and did jammed in the nozzle and is jamming the air to go out ! Take out the mechbox, clean the nozzle if needed. JF |

Goes without saying now, don't use the 6mm paintballs in your guns!!

Take the front barrel group off of the gun and see if the nozzle moves back and forth freely when firing.

it doesnt move as fast as it should...
it propels the bb enough to travel forward about 3-4 inches down the barrel tops, then jams up with the following few shots.. and madmax, btw, havent seen you in raven shield, you quit your clan or somethin? (Nmz.Predator) Last edited by mykill666; October 31st, 2006 at 05:53.. Reason: typo |

gah, just got done opening the mechbox (one of my biggest fears) and got everything back in ok... (dont worry, i pretty much know what im doing :P)
found out the piston head is not attatched in any way to the actual piston..and to my knowledge, it has to be secured in by a screw... so whats an easy way to fix this? just replace the screw? or must i order a new piston set |
