kjw p14.45 leaky mags

Sure you have this question all the time. Anyways got 3 leaky mags and I am having a lot of trouble fixing them. I have taken them apart and soaked the orings and top rubber part in silicon oil for 24hrs, now they are leaking out the side part on the bottom. So I tried soaking that in silicon oil and they are still leaking. Any suggestions?

- strip mag down
- clean with alcohol
- grind inside part of mag where seal sits with a dremel stone
- grind bottom part of mag where seal sits with same stone
- clean and dry with alcohol and towels
- mix up metal epoxy and apply to bottom of mag, apply seal and apply more epoxy, then apply epoxy to inside of mag
- but bottom of mag back into mag adn secure pins (do this quickly as you only have a couple of mintues until the epoxy sets
- wait an hour then try to fill ti up.

take note taht this procedure is a one time thing, you mess up and good luck fixing it. but so far i have fixed well over a dozzen mags this way and not one of them has failed me again. you just gotta be quick becuase once you start there is no turning back and you only have a few minutes once you start mixing up the epoxy.

cheers

Ive also found that a not so one time, but still effective fix is to replace the square o-ring with a much fatter one, oil it up and screw it in tight.
