Devgru TM02 vs Iasus Sniper Pro
I want to use a throat mic but I hesitate between those two models.
The Iasus NT Sniper Pro for $125 CAN, evrything I need included. http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/...oducts_id=2507 The Devgru TM02 for $150 USD + $17 USD (for the adapter). http://www.shawnsproshop.com/shop/ca...ategory_id=257 I'd like to get the Iasus since it's way cheaper, but the opinions seem to be very different about it: some love it and others say they will never buy Iasus products again. Would it really be worth it to invest in the Devgru? |

anything but a throat mic, I<ve tried about 4 different models form 50$ to 500$ and the best com setup I found is the good old shoulder mic (aka the cop mic) with a high end ear piece. A throat mic is good if your face has to be covered up ( i.e. gas mask or something) if not don't use them. My opinion anyway.

First things first, if you decide on the DEVGRU DO NOT ORDER FROM Airsoft Extreme. I got myself the devgru from them and I got dicked around and lied to... Not a very professional company if you ask me.
As for the devgru mic I can't say if it's good or not because I can't get it to work with my Motorola Saber...

Mmmm, maybe I'll go the cheap and custom way. Take a cheap helmet, take the mic and speaker apart, velcro it in my mask and use my frs' PTT.
Any ohter input on the throat mics? And thanks a lot guys! |

Easy way to beat UPS "anal rape charge" is to have the package addressed to Your Name Co. UPS will see the Co at the end and assume you're a company and will be clearing the parcel yourself and expect YOU to do everything. It usually involves going to their customs office, getting the paperwork, going to CBSA and clearing it (really, just show them the paperwork and pay the taxes), then bring it back to UPS and you get your parcel a LOT cheaper.
Of course not using UPS is preferable, but if you have no other choice this may save you a few bucks. |

I bought an IASUS NT Sniper setup last year from someone on this board who sells them - located out in BC. I can't remember who it was though.
I hated the thing. While it was built nicely, the stupid voice coils would constantly slip out from underneath the throat strap and shift all over the place. It was driving me crazy. The only way I could get the thing to stay in place was to tighten the strap so tight that I would almost choke. In the end I gave up on the thing and bought a nice little earbud and clip-on mic setup from Scarecrow that has worked perfectly ever since.

Not to rain on anyone's parade here or anything, but you will be required a broker's name, OR they'll assume you want UPS as your broker...
