CA M15A4 SPC - RIS Wobble?

I had just recieved my M15A4 SPC last week and promptly attached a vert grip onto the bottom rail.

In taking it out to its first game last Sunday, I noticed that there is some play in the RIS and I can wiggle it side to side.( a fair bit )

I tried tightening it with the delta ring ( both CW and CCW ) and it just spins I am wondering if the delta ring is just for looks?

Anyone know how to tighten the RIS down to stop this? Or anyone have a link that explains the tear down of this gun?

Also, how can I remove the RIS/Front Sling Mount to install the handguards
(They wont go on from the front )

Thanks

The spring that pushes the delta ring may be sitting improperly.
