I could only get so much out of it, not being able to read Japanese and all..... so I don't think it'd be worth my money to look at pretty pictures.

"Would you subscripe to Japanese or Airsoft magazines?"
I really don't understand the question here. Maybe because I am ESL but do you ask wheter we want to subscribe to any Japanese magazine or an airsoft magazine? I might be confusing myself. Anyways I would subsribe for an Airsoft mag, but not for a Japanese Airsoft mag. I am not planning on Japanese as a third Language

The magazine money could be going towards guns/gear/bbs....there's online forums and I noticed that the internet basically killed a lot of magazines.

The only worthy Japanese Airsoft publication to subscribe for is ARMS magazine. But you cant subscribe to them since the don't accept international subscriptions.

I'm still a subscriber to ARMS.
However they're all send to my office in Yokohama... (giggles) ENVY ME! Actually today I outright gave away 2/3 of my collection. I figured it's a little better than selling so why not?

I know a few Chinese book stores around Scarborough and Markham that can order monthly issues of ARMS magazine for a very good price. I think it was $25 for all issues, the $5 is a deposit, and all the extra $5 will be put into the last issues. sounds like a awesome deal.

This money could be used for real airsoft magazines, that hold bb's and allow us to fire projectiles through our guns.
A Canadian based magazine would be more preferable to that of a Japanese one, the shipping on the latter would probably be more than the magazine itself (unless Canadian retailers have them instock). |
