KWA m93r slide won't come all the way forward.
hey guys, I've searched this issue and all I've found was this: http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/to...-m93r-problem/
it's the same problem as the guy above has but there's no solution there. Any help I can get would be much appretiated! btw, I only just got the gun from one of the guys here on ASC and plinked it a few times and I've tried lubbing it so it doesn't need lube and it's as clean as a whistle. |

If it was anything like mine, take it apart and put it back together. One thing about the M93r is that the inner barrel has to rest in a certain spot or else it gets caught. Double check the barrel first and make sure its in the right slot. It's the only thing I can think of atm, unless a part near the trigger is in the way

Damn....that barrel is hard to get back in....alright, I'll see what I can do while fiddling around with it. Thanks for the info! oh! and those pictures of those two tabs at the end of that thread have nothing to do with it?

I have a M39R as well, and I fixed a similar issue. Following your link, the part that Amorton94 circled is called the locking block, make sure that hasn't broken the part of the barrel it pivots on, or has otherwise fallen out of alignment. Also on Amorton's last picture, I noticed his barrel is very badly worn on the top where it contacts the slide, this has happened to me before and it causes lots of non-obvious problems with the slide not going back into battery.
Both of these have happened to me and I solved them both by just buying a new stock outer barrel.

ok, so I'm pretty sure you're right about the outer barrel being too worn out and I'm going to have to either pick up a new one or make one (I love having machinest buddies ) but I helped the problem a lot by taking off the left grip and lubbing up all the parts under it real well and it does it FAR less often now.

Update: http://www.kwausa.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10700
(not my thread on KWAusa at all but same issue) seems that I need a new outer barrel, thanks everyone! |

Glad to help. RA Tech makes a steel outer barrel for the M93R, or as you say you could get a new one machined, I'd still recommend getting an OEM plastic barrel. My reasoning is: that point of impact is going to still be there, and at least one of the barrel or slide is going to wear out under regular impact, with a harder steel barrel you may end up wearing out the aluminum slide and that costs more to replace than the barrel.

well I would but I don't know were to find one in canada....any help there would also be appreciated because I can't justify spending $25 for a part and then doubling that for shipping and border fees...
