Misfeeds/Low FPS
This afternoon I tried and chrono'd my gun the temperature was about -5ish Celsius. I discovered my gun fired about 1-2 rounds then bbs stopped coming out (mechanic seems to work propperly).. I tried to shoot about 40degrees down and the gun started to shoot 5-6 rounds then none then 2-3. Wierd thing is that INSIDE when I try my weapon it doesnt seem to happen... I also noticed shooting outside that my fps was way lower as it should be.. I chrono'd 335/365/365 (then the gun stopped shooting again) my spring is a m120 and my motor can pull upto m150.. Is it the cold giving an hard time to my gun or it's a real problem...
Also I noticed when I assembled my hop-up that the part which is supposed to go up or down when you ajust enters so tight it just doesnt move when I try to ajust my hop-up.. |

1) cold reduces battery life of NiMH and NiCd batteries
2) cold makes the hop rubber much stiffer, causing it to jam BBs Get around that by using a softer hop rubber, like silicone instead of rubber 3) Did you try lowering the hop up? 4) If you have a rubber hop rubber, chances are you won't be able to get level trajectory before it starts jamming the gun |

3) I cant, its like the hop-up arm was too thick to enter the hop-up body. When I turn the adjustement wheel the arm doesnt move.
4) Inside theres no feeding problem. Is the cold temperature a cause for my low fps? Something like the bucking gets so stiff it causes a leak of air and some kind of loss of compression? Last edited by Beeny; April 8th, 2013 at 01:20.. |

the grease can stiffen up and lower FPS
Most likely there's too much pressure on the hop up and it's jamming the BBs It's not necessarily an air leak, it might just be the hop up slowing them down |

About the hop-up arm issue.. should I send it back for a RMA? It's really too thick for its body.

I haven't heard of that before
Are you sure it's not just the dial that's really really stiff? If you press down on the arm itself it doesn't move at all? Take a picture? |

Ive contacted the store where I bought it and it's an imperfection with the arm being way too thick I just hope it didnt break the adjustment wheel...
