Various issues with AEG

A few years back I bought an ICS m4a1 just for fun. I am no airsoft junkie and have never made upgrades/repairs to any of my guns. The gun worked great. Today I pulled it out of the box for the first time in awhile to test it. I found that first, the safety doesnt work and it likes to stay on semi-auto when i set it on safety.
Also, the mag I use usually misfires. It tends to fire 1-2 shots, then about 3 blanks, and repeats the process.
Lastly, the gun usually fires 2 shots on semi-auto mode.
I'm wondering if I have to do a disassembly (which will be very hard for me) or something of that matter.

ICS M4s are the easiest gun to work period.

Find some youtube video, and go for it.
Just make sure not to shuffle the shims on each gears, so you won't have to re-do the shim job (that is the "hardest" thing to get right).
