Cavalvy Style Headsets: Where and which to buy?
I'm looking for a cavalvy style headset to use on a Puxing 888 that is of good quality. I do not want to buy something that will stop working in less than 2 years.
I have looked at the Z Tactical ones however they seem oddly cheap, are they good? I would prefer to purchase from a Canadian retailer. Along with the headset, which PTT system would I need to tag along with it? Any and all help is appreciated! Note: I did some searching on the forums however could not find this information and now being the New Year there might be some new stuff out. Last edited by M.Garcia; February 2nd, 2013 at 07:18.. |

Calvary is a brand of airsoft headsets. Same as Z-Tactical/Element.
For a PX-888 you need a Kenwood 2 pin push to talk. I prefer Z-Tactical over Calvary myself, but everyone seems to have a different opinion of which of the two brands worked/shit the bed for them.

Cavalry was the go to brand to get a Bowman style headset.
A few years ago someone started making tons of shitty copies of them down to the packaging. I have a few years on one that's still fine. You'll probably find lots of other positive reports but sorting through the copies of a copy will be a problem.

Ok great! I will definitely refer to North Trail for that headset!
-EDIT: Doesn't appear that he has any. Is there any other retailers who sell them? Last edited by M.Garcia; February 2nd, 2013 at 13:23.. |
