WE HK416 Pros/Cons ?
Hi guys,
I'm thinking to buy the WE HK416 - Open Bolt (Green gas) and i've seached for pros ans cons. Maybe it's been already asked on the forum, but I didnt find the post (been with the search button). I know that the HK416 is hot out of the box and I heard the closed bolt extern parts was a bit weak (3 years ago :/, may have changed). I wanted to know global performance is it worth it and if it's strong enought to support some bad lucks (never know). Well if it's a good first GBBR gun for a noob. I found a lot of upgrade possible on it and I'm ok with it, gonna have fun to dissassemble it and learn of it. Thanks for the help *I want a GBBR, paintball player "caprice". I hate batteries . |

I believe that the concensus on GBBR' is that it's better not to upgrade to steel parts until factory parts start failing on you. They will last you a long while anyway, as long as you're treating your gbbr properly.
I just recently purchased this GBBR but have yet to test it on the field. It shot nearly 500fps out of the box so a NPAS is a must to regulate the FPS and that can be purchased for pretty cheap. I also installed a TM VSR10 hop up rubber which is supposed to blow the stock part out of the sky. Youtube has great videos detailing every step required to install those 2 parts on your own. I'll be gaming it for the first time this Sunday so I'll try to give you proper feedback.

The weapon had zero issues indoors at a temperature of around 18celcius and it was very accurate with the TM VSR-10 hopup rubber. Great kick with every shot.
I enjoyed everything about it and I'm looking forward to the next game. The cons. -Paint job is flimsy -No markings -WE Open bolt mags don't hold together too well. 2 of my 6 mags need a longer screw with locktite to hold the inner and outer part of the mags together.
