aps v2 compatible gearbox
sirs/ ma'am,
i currently have issues with my aps gearbox splitting in the forward section of the gearbox. i was wondering if anone has swapped gearboxes into a aps v2 receiver, specifically an aps m4 receiver. ive tried instaling a SRC gearbox shell and have no luck in doing it properly without shaving the aft end of the the gearbox. does anyone know a brand that is compatible with the aps m4 series? thanks

APS kinda does their own (shitty) thing, since their EBB line has proprietary parts. If an SRC box doesn't fit, try to find another shell that fits from someone's parts box before buying one.

I'm in the same boat as you babybear. I can tell you that the modify torus gearbox will not fit.

It looks like a clone of the Classic Army EBB lineup. Sadly I don't think they are any easier to find then APS gearboxes.

I saw on ebay they have them for 30$, but they only ship to the US. I've got one of these as well and I am wondering if you find the box setup nice with the anti-reversal and trigger not trying to pop off like in a standard v2?
