That would be illegal.

Its illegal. In fact the police are probably already waiting for you at the park.

Waiting.

All in seriousness. Yes, its illegal and incredibly stupid. Considoring that and your intended actions i'm assuming you're a bunch of 14 year olds. Might wanna hold off on the airsoft until you are 18 and can actually participate in real airsoft games.

Every municipality I'm aware of has a "No Discharge" bylaw in effect. Anything that fires a projectile would be affected and would be considered a firearm for the purposes of the bylaw, even Airsoft guns and bows. And that's just the municipal legal implications. The police may decide to take things quite a bit further.

No. VERY illegal. You're running around with hardware that looks like - from a distance - real guns. Cops will be called.

Also, I don't think I've ever heard of a "public park" that's located outside of a town's limits. At that point, it's either a provincial park or national park. And it would still be illegal.

Why don't you call Lethbridge Bylaw and ask what the fine could be, on top of loosing you guns and the possibility of going to prison.

Being arrested is one thing.

I dont think i've payed for an airsoft scrim in... Ever. Unless there are some things provided like usable vehicles on the feild or cooked lunch.

So, here's the question:

Whats better? Being arrested, or 'maybe' spending 5 bucks for a game where you get something cool like hotdogs and hamburgers on your break.

Let's see here. Things that resemble guns, "public park,'' and a bunch of guys running around... Yes, definitely not illegal. Jeez why can't you at least go deep into the woods where human contact is minimal

Consequences... Carrying a firearm, attempt to cause bodily harm, disturbing the peace, criminal mischief... the list could go on, just depends which soccer mom gets a hold of the police.
