I don’t know if there is anything about this on here, I checked, but couldn’t really find anything? When is your newbie status lifted?

When it comes to tactics and gun info I’m really good. Tactics come from my milsim tactical paintball. The gun info is just reading lots and looking, I’m no pro, but know enough. Playing the sport is a game here and there, not too many looking to get more and more into it!

When you go to a game with your batteries charged, properly kitted, are ready to play on time, and integrate into the team well.

I know people who have been playing for years who still can't accomplish that.

No, you can post in the other sections.

Just a couple suggestions however:

1. Get age verified as soon as you are able

2. Search first before asking. Tons of info here at your disposal if you look for it.

Cheers!

No, but questions like "what gun is the best" and other topics which have been covered a million times already, they do belong here.

This section is just for really silly questions that only a new person would ask, where you can't be flamed for asking.

This is the important distinction. You can ask questions anywhere you want, providing they're in the right section of the forum. However, if it's a question with an easily googled answer, or a silly question, or anything people just generally disagree on it would be best to post it in the Newbie Tank where you won't be flamed by the ASC Hate Machine.

Basically, think of the newbie thank like a protective barrier.

Once your posts start to wander outside the protective barrier, the vultures are free to pick at your flesh. And rightfully so.

Simply put, if you need your hand held, stay in the newbie section.

I don't know if I'd compare the ASC Hate Machine to vultures. More like a hungry pack of wolves, or maybe velociraptors.

You're right. Wolves and Velociraptors dont wait till the meat starts to rot. They like it when its still warm.

Sharks can smell blood upto 0.5km away, but a wolf can pick up the scent of prey from up to 2.5km. Wolves are also much better at hunting as a pack to take down prey.

So my vote is still with wolves.
