Ics m4 heeeeeeelp

ok guys so I'm not new to gun teching - i run my own business for goodness sakes so dont gimmi the usual check ur shimming bs lol

I have a brand spanking new ICS M4 (well i say brand new but mach1 have done their thing to it i guess - monkeys i tell ya) and basically I cannot get the airseal to work - the thing either airseals properly but doesn't feed bb's or simply blows air out of the magwell.

I have replaced the tappet plate, nozzle, hop rubber, hop unit multiple times and nothing fixes it - evry time i try - same problem ('s)

I've managed to get it feeding only once but that was with a slightly longer nozzle and it wouldn't feed in full auto - I'm at the end of my tether with this damned thing.

so,,suggestions? lol

Should have returned it when it first had problems?

Can't tell you much, seems like you tried most things (Check your shimming? Hehe)

Check the notch on the sector gear that pulls back the tappet plate. Maybe it's deformed or something and won't pull the nozzle far enough back for a BB to feed properly. Or you lost the tappet plate spring :P That's the only two things I could think of.

IF you can, rebuild the set-up where it was feeding properly in semi, and add a sector gear delayer so the tappet plate stays back a little longer.

Vented cylinder? perhaps it's installed backwards? Just a thought.

agree. i have fixed this problem a few times with a sector chip.

if .12g bbs will feed well, then forget the sector chip and remove .5-1 mm (not more than 1mm) from the front of the oversize nozzle to aid feeding.

What about that spring between the hopup and the gun?
