Cyma sig 556 & mag release
I am starting to have issues with the mag release. I ended up finding a few mags falling out of the gun during a game. Checked the problem. The mag catch Is extremely loose with king arms mags. Tm are fine (barely). I added a few layers of tape around my ka mags but now the mag release seems to be warping. Upon closer examination it is actually loosely bending. It's similar to a standard m4 mag catch but it has this extra sqaure on it. The metal rod (sorry no idea what it should be called) that runs from one side to the other is circled by a tube of clear plastic which is covered by the mag release spring. I tightend the hex screw that holds it in place with no results.
I am basically looking for some ideas on how to fix this issue or maybe someone knows of a replacement. I've googled the issue and it's a defect in all cyma 556s. I don't mind using tm mags only but I literally just spent over $100 on ka metal mags.

I've found that KA mags don't really work. Plastic regular style mags or PMAGS work well.

I hate to bring up an old thread, but I just bought myself a SIG 556 and I tried someone's Pmag and it literally just fell out of my gun while a metal mag sat there but still came out with a tug
