So the material isn't noticeably soft? Ive heard from people some of theyre DYTAC rails came with dings in them and that its a very soft material.

Im looking for a new rail and that turned me away from DYTAC immediately.

Still contemplating to put a VLTOR receiver on this build, but I'm not sure if the cylinders are going to fit those.

I guess it depends what you mean by soft. Certainly can't flex it or anything like that. My mk4 is very lightweight, but to me that's a good thing.

It's stronger than the reciever my KA M4a1 used to have, which was aluminum I believe.

^You like it so far? Ive been eyeing this for a while. Interesting gun, really liked the real steel version. Where else can you get an upper like that. And ya i think it falls under the m4 platform.

The ability to move the rails around, included 2 extra rails, and hand stops is awesome.
no wobbles, metal rail polymer body, peq box lipo battery in the stock.

the stock sights are cheap troy plastic clones, but I replaced those.

inner barrel is 300mm, and my chrono'd at 380fps rather consistently.

I love this thing, programmable gearbox is a plus too, Cannot wait to let this thing rip at MACH1 (with some minor upgrades barrel, hopup, spring)

Yeah. I jumped on this gay wagon too.. But, I'm doing things a bit differently.

No shock cord, and no Battle Comp or similar brake device, and fixed sight posts, because, non-conformist.

This is my five-prong-fuck-you-alien-scum Frankenpew device.

Unsure whether I'll leave the rail black, paint it, or repaint the rifle+LVOA. Also contemplating adding a magnifier and swapping to MBUS Pro flip-ups. Time will tell.

I would make the rail match the reciever, so it looks like a one piece system like the real thing.
