Guess I'll pimp my USP Tac before, but hey, you can never have too much pistols, can you?

What Jordan said, modification will be needed .
For example, when I installed a real E2 grip to fit on a TM/KJW type of frame, I had to reduce the diameter of the grip screw bushings to fit the holes on the inside of the grip.

EDIT -
I was also able to use the real decocking lever( top one) that came with the grip kit. It doesn't extend as far into the frame as the TM lever, but it does work.

I don't know if being a Prime kit makes a difference, but I had no problem running a RS Hogue grip when I had the TM P226(for all of 2 weeks)....

Thanks. Another question :

Will aftermaket frames like Guarder one fit the KJW. Should since it's a clone, but I'm still asking.

I'm thinking of something. If the plan is to already swap a lot of the exterior, would a Cansoft KJW be a good idea or I'm just silly? :P I mean, the saved money could finance the frame, and offer a "cheaper" alternative to my "project".

I really love the look of Arc's P226 with the wooden grips and silver.

I'm just asking for now, no way I can justify another pistol.

I'm really starting to dig that pistol.
Anyone knows about my question two posts below?

The E2 trigger makes things a lot easier with the not so ergo thick wood grips.

I had the KJW P226 before. It is an alright gun. It is not 100% compatible with the TM parts. The guarder frame requires some mods, as far as I know.

KJW is cheaper than the TM, but keep in mind the KJW might break before the TM even with a FMU. I ran both green gas and dust gas through my TM P226 for a year, still very solid.

I'm more interested in the looks than in the performance. Thanks for the feedback.
Now I guess I have to resort on a TM P226, and I have the feeling that finding one will be a b----.

There is nothing wrong with the KJW P226, I had a full metal one and it was a great gun no problems what so ever. Guarder parts need some work regardless of what platform you put it on. KJW is TM compatible so if you want a cheaper base gun for your project then KJ is the way to go once you get your external mods done you can start swapping the internals.
