lmao@ the picture and the whole thread. Some one desperately needs to actually test this shit out in a sniper rifle and see if it works or not.

I tried those mints in one of my springers.... had a bust, but I cleared it out with a bb and then tried it on a Dart board, it also left that minty clean smell.

I did a small accuracy test:
5 shots fired standing each with : 0.25g excel; hopup set for ~50+ feet and the mints(approx 0.1125g); hopup off done at 18 feet, no wind against a cardboard backstop groupings measured center to center 5.1" Hi-Capa using a 4.3" magazine TK twist barrel 150% hammer/recoil spring lots o' shooter's design metal parts 3 of the mints failed to explode on contact http://img253.imageshack.us/my.php?i...scf53459zj.jpg overall group: 100mm smallest group: 19mm compared to the excels http://img253.imageshack.us/my.php?i...scf53469zk.jpg overall group: 33mm smallest group: 11mm btw, for those of you who say that the TK barrel doesnt work: this is the stock barrel, same conditions as the TK twist http://img253.imageshack.us/my.php?i...scf53472lv.jpg overall group: 50mm smallest group: 13mm |

Where can you buy these? I looked in 5 different stores today, and couldn't find them...guess that's the downside to living in a small town. I was able to find the solid (certs-like) ones, but I don't want to eat them, I want to shoot them!

My brother picked up some of the Frisk ones (They are much closer to 6mm than the other brand) at 7-11. I'm going to give them a shot in my VSR-10 (440FPS w/ 0.20g) after this weekend's OP. I don't really want my barrel to smell minty out in the field.

Only been a week, hopefully no body gts to mad im bringing this back up. Another idea for these mints, would be using them as tracers.. like, in the real wrold phosphorus coated bullets i believe are whats used for tracers in machine guns, but if you dontwanna use the g&p tracer mag, or tm tracer unit you can use these. theyre a different color, may stand out.. maybe not as well as night as in day however, and ice breakers arent quite 6mm, so.. i was thinking bright orange spay paint to coat them? it would make them a bit bigger, but stand out more as well.

Yeah me and tinshnipz we bought some at a hasty mart but i tried them in my m9 and you have to mussle load it. lol. And you cant tilt it down past a 90 degree angle. They dont break either.
You can do it via mag but when the slide moves forward to put one into the chamber it flies out.

maybe, but even then.. the actual mints would be less then 0.06 each.. doesnt sound like that can be right to me too.
