if the parent is involved In airsoft to begin with then sure, bing your kids to a game
but the whiny brats that think should be allowed to play can fuck right off, who really wants some kid and their dad/mom on the field with their softair and civvies? Maybe I'm an elitist but that kinda kills it for me I cuss alot and act a fool sometimes and I don't want some parent complaining that I'm setting a bad example for their kid, it kinda ruins the spirit of adult fun with the guys that some people like to get out of this activity. If you want nice wholesome family fun, go play paintball, just my opinion.

I hear you but my dad wont play air soft let alone air soft so that’s the problem i'm facing. He also has to take care of my 2 bros, they are younger then meby 2 years.
Edit i have an Xbox and you should hear some of the things that come out of my mouth :P

Agreed with pus and Saint. With a parent who is an established player and known by the community, there shouldn't be any issue. I'm sure that most game hosts would be more than happy to allow that, with the caveat being that the kid is under the adult's supervision at all times.
While my son is too young to play, he's attended a couple of games with me at the Mill and locally here in Kingston. He didn't want to play, but he did love being there around all the guys with their gear and guns. Turns out for a 10 year old, he got a hell of a lot of attention at the Mill when he pulled out his TM M4 Boys to show off, all while handling it safely, finger off the trigger, etc... It was a lot of fun for everyone. And I seriously look forward to the day I can play an actual game with him. However, before you kiddies decided to drag mom or dad off to the airsoft field with you in hopes to play, remember they have to be actually playing with you as well. Dropping you off doesn't count! And a parent unknown to the player community is not likely to make any difference to a host.

WTF?!?!
Go find your own way to games, leave your dad alone...hasn't he already waited long enough for you to leave?...can't cut him a break for a day? Pay your own way...I bet he has plans for his own money...least of which is watching you piss it away on a game and toys. I'd bet I could guess the answer if you asked your dad the following questions: "Hey pops, want to chauffer me around, cover my expenses and wait around while I play a game for the whole day?" or "Hey pops, I did all the stuff you asked me to do, could I borrow a couple of dollars to go fuck off and get out of your way for a day?" |
