I've ordered a few things myself from AirsoftGI, each order totaling over $300, and I got arse-raped over brokerage fees and duties. |

I wish I could trust UPS, but I don't. To me, it's a crapshoot whether or not I'll be charged extra. And considering the ongoing dispute I've got with UPS over them double-charging me for brokerage (charged at the door to accept the package, and receive a bill 6 weeks later in the mail saying brokerage hasn't been paid), it's even questionable if they'll even deliver it to me at all.

A lot of places have made special arrangements for me when I had a DHL account back in the day. Places that wouldn't normally ship DHL would do so if I made a request to the store's general mailbox first. They may make an exception for you too - never hurts to ask if it's something you want bad enough. |

I wouldn't use UPS just on principal (and refuse to unless it's absolutely necessary). Try contacting the retailer first, I've had many who only shipped UPS to Canada who agreed to ship USPS after I explained the situation to them (including ESS).

I usually just post my reviews on airsoftcanada, you are more than welcome to use my reviews on your website. I currently have an indepth one on my TAD Predator Hardshell Jacket, and one on a BC retailer. I have my new radio comming in and those mags, so you can expect another two indepth reviews on those items, however im on school, so this is only when time permits.

Those 120 round PMAGS look nice. Too bad they're around $30 each.
I'd never use UPS again. They charged me $130 for 30 cents worth of LEDs from China once. |

Happy they're releasing midcaps! I'll probably buy a few black ones once they're out.

i was talking to militia about the PMAGs the other day and he mentioned something about two companies making the pmags. one airsoft and one actually by magpul. apparently the magpul ones have superior quality over just regular airsoft manufacture made ones (duh). how can i tell which is which? are the ebaybanned ones the real magpul with better quality plastic?

However I just received a $100 order of BB's from AirsoftGI, delivered by UPS, but it was marked as $10 so no charges there either! |

Magpul doesn't actually ever make any of their Magpul PTS stuff, except maybe the CTR stock since it's really just a real steel one repackaged in a PTS box. The genuine MIAD grips and stuff were made by HK-based MS Infinity (who also made the official airsoft versions of the Falcon Ergo Grips, etc). As for the PMAGs, there's the realcap (20/30 round) green label ones, made in cooperation with STAR, and there's the midcaps which only carry the Magpul PTS branding (dunno who actually makes them). Given the price difference, I'd guess the STAR ones are the lower quality ones -- which is somewhat ironic considering they're supposed to be the real "professional training" ones. Also the EB price for the STAR ones (~US$41 shipped for 5) kinda blows, since UNC has a box of 10 for US$55+ship The choad chuggers over at Evike will also sell you the STAR ones piecemeal for $10 a pop, plus the outlandish UPS shipping.

recieved a box of ten 20 round ones last week, had feeding problems with all of them, have to hold the mag up into the magwell for it to feed properly, although that should easily be fixed with some tape i'm thinkin
