Most of the time, I use weight lifting gloves that have the fingers cut. (came like this).
The padding is in the palm and I like them. Especially for sniping.

For CQB use, I use my hybrid glove with the kevlar liner inside. They are confy and durable, yet thin enough to manipulate firearms. But it's overkill. I use them only because I had them for my job.

My favourite gloves to date are Manzella SWAT 10. They're a little more expensive (about $75 I think) but have been the most durable and comfortable tactical gloves I've tried to date. They provide excellent to the fingers and knuckles from hits, are flexible, and thin enough that you still have good dexterity.

I use a pair of tan Oakley SI Assault Gloves, its a great buy i must say, they arent bulky and feel nice to wear, only part that some might consider bulky is the knuckle gaurd. however mine is an ACM replica but still an amazing buy as ive been using them for a while now. very durable and highly recommend it to others

A bit of tan or brown spray paint on them to mask the yellow in the trims and they would be perfect, color wise.

Yeah i bought em as a spare of the moment thing i have another pair of actual shooting gloves i got from the surplus. And yeah the index is weird but i mostly got them cause they'd be warmer.. They suck holding a pistol

Keep in mind that the Mechanix gloves on Ebay are most likely knock offs. I used to sell the Mechanix brand and they are not cheap. I loved them but switched to nomex flight gloves which felt better. I also use the Hatch Operators which have lasted for the last two years so far with no splits in the seams or frayed threads. I think gloves are more subjective to the wearer. One may like certain features over others. The best thing to do is try them on and see how you like them. If you want a second opinion, ask around after you try them on. There has to be a reason a lot of operators wear the nomex flight gloves besides being readily available to them.

I use a pair of SOLAG Heavy Duty Kevlar gloves. Lightweight, great dexterity, pretty good fit and no movement (slipping?) with them. Only downside is that they're expensive if you get them retail.

Before that I used to use a set of CADPAT CF leather gloves, made a decent set of gunners gloves on the ranges.

I'm in the reserve so i have all the cf gloves available to me,
but they are not really the best gloves imo.
so im looking to get a pair that's perfect for me.
Just finished an exercise up north and i realized that I really do need 2 pairs. one winter and one summer.
summer probably will be thin and give me all the dexterity i need while the winter one
is a balance between the dexterity and warmth.

I use the Oakley SI Assault gloves in black as well. They're a really good quality pair of gloves and well made. Would definitely recommend them.

I'm actually going to order a pair of these (color/size might change). They look like a pretty decent clone.

Be advised that Deal Xtreme is known to sell replica stuff.

One of my friend found out the hard way.

I just got some hatch SOG 750s--they seem quite nice for $60 shipped.

My previous gloves are $10 manzellas and a (actually quite nice) $12 pair of hatchish clones.

Anyways, we'll see how these hatch gloves pan out. I'll update when I have more info.

EDIT: to OP: check eotac vickers on ebay. sub $40 gloves--I have no experience with them but they look nice enough.

Whatever you buy, make sure your fingernails are protected, damn it hurts when you get a bb right on a fingernail
