From March until now my brothers VA M4S has been working wonderfully, it out performs the G&G m16 on the field as it was one of the earlier upgraded versions (the A model that is no longer shown on his sight, as opposed to the model dubbed B). When I purchased the gun it was said JG and that is confirmed by the mechbox markings inside.

VA rifles are JG i believe. I have the V4S from Velocity, and though its only my first aeg I have looked at others and this is just as good, only difference being the abs reciever, but its strong as hell. I hammered the reciever as hard as i could like 10 times there was hardly a scratch.

Imo VA really does alot to make certain that the products they sell are quality and competative in price. Only a KWA cansoft is close imo again.
Aftermath is the equivalent of NoName or PresidentsChoice. Looks the same, cooks the same but lets not expect it to taste the same.

I met with Brian McIlmoyle earlier this evening for age verification. He said it would take like a week or something to show up on my profile.

JG = Jing Gong, TM clone company.
ABS = "military" grade plastic. Usually isn't true ABS, though. |

Oh well, thank you for pointing out my error. I had always thought ABS was military grade plastics. Cheers. |

abs has been around for years and I didn't need a military contract to have abs drain pipes installed in my house. |

A receiver is the part that contains the firing mechanism (and usually the part that also carries the serial number) on a real steel gun. It's also the part that's prohibited for importation.
Also a lot of Canoes and Kayaks are made of ABS. It's actually a pretty wonderful material.

what about velocity arms vs src?
va: v4a1 (with batt & charger) - $270 + gst + pst src: gen 3 m4 - $400 + gst + shipping clearly src costs more. however there arent much parts info regarding the va, and i believe its a jg. so quality/performance goes to src? |

The price should tell you something about that.
