As for the status saying that your package is en route, it's probably just as it states. It may not have even landed in country yet. Once it gets processed at one of CP's portals the status should be updated to "Item arrived in Canada - will be reviewed by customs" |

I did an order from ehobby, their post wasnt updated online at all untill after I got my package here and CP even had decent updates on their site about where my package is...
Sometimes its updated on time, sometimes its just really stupid on how their updates work

The thing about CP leaving packages sitting around is true. I had actually done an order before, which included a gun, and the tool left it sitting on my front porch in plain site from the street. No one was home at the time, only once in my life did I get a notice, and that was about 5 years ago. Ever since, they just leave it sitting around. Few weeks ago I did a small order (big packages though) but instead of leaving it on the porch, the poor moron tried jamming them into my mailbox, had I not got home, I imagine both packages would have been gone.
However they do knock.. once. |

CP tracking is almost useless. Sometimes it's accurate and timely. At other times, your package info is finally updated days after you receive the package. It's hit or miss for the most part, especially when the package comes from abroad.

General rule of Thumb when using Canada Posts Website tracking:
1) If it says in transit and its been a week then its lost and in Cambodia. 2) If you've already received it and its been a week, then they think they have lost it and have sent someone to Cambodia to look for it. |

mannn, I hope ehobby gives me a refund OR send me another crane stock. OR if they can find it redirect to me.

If CP lost it, I doubt ehobby will actually do anything unless they insured the package.

well I guess I'll see, cause it has been mailed on the April 8th, so there's a chance that it might NOT be lost, and there's just a delay with the CP tracking, or it has no yet arrived to Canada.

Definitely delay in tracking. Half the time the tracking doesn't even get updated for my packages until they're at my door. It was mailed 2 days ago, don't worry about it. When its a week late, that's when you start calling them up.

lol sometimes it the plane goes elsewhere first(Like Japan, for example), and then comes to Canada. I've had parcels take 4 days to arrive at canada after the "Item left the origin country"
By the way, the parcel is not officially handled by CP until it actually gets into Canada. So you can't go ahead and blame everything on CP... Not that I like CP at all. I know it's your first purchase but your being way too insecure, give it some time, and be patient. It will come. |

I always thought that the only "tracking" that was done was when your package passed through a distribution center and was scanned... I usually only get something like:
