It may not be your sear. Check the takedown pin (square one that pulls out to remove bolt) it may just not be set all the way to the top.

Exact same thing happened to mine.

Good luck.

well i took a few looks at the gun, i was the one trying to figure out what was wrong with the gun and unfortunately i have. apparently the downward pressure caused by the piston being held in place by the sear caused the frame to crack. this was not caught by me until later take downs of the gun when i noticed the sears frame beginning to "sag" in the trigger housing. impossible to notice until it was to late. lesson learned and a buyer beware i guess. if any knows of where to get such a replacement part, it would be greatly appreciated.

I can actually see how bowed the trigger sear is in those pictures. It's supposed to lie flat at the top of the trigger assembly, not curved as yours is. Easy replacement part though. You have many options overseas. PDI, Laylax, etc make replacements although they're expensive (for what they are)
If you want to buy local buyairsoftparts.ca has the Deepfire sear set http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=650
QC on the part isn't the greatest but you can replace both sears for the cost of one.
