He's on there I do believe. I wonder if they do group sections, like having a "Canadians-only" section? Seeing as how we're a unique situation, where our only volume retailer for PTWs has nothing to do with them after they leave him, and the little guy (MadMax) does all the tech work and parts. And we seem to have the highest ratio of kits/preassembled.

Some guy asked about getting something like that for his country Venezuela and was flat out told no by Doff. Maybe I misunderstood what he wanted though.

Yes SBranson,I'm on the fourms there, but I find there are alot of great guys here that know there stuff as well! I don't think it's a bad thing to ask here,I know what you mean by it,nothing bad!,But it's a good way for them too learn as well about such a great unit.Show me unit thats not flawed and I'll show ya the unit thats out selling anything else lol.All AEG's have there problems,it's how much your willing to put up with.I'v been lucky that I havent had realy bad failures with my units. To me it comes down to maintaining them!Sorry for the ramble guys.

Oh, I agree that there's many knowledgeable people on this forum, it's just that it seems every Systema post ends in some cost vs. performance debate.
Kinda boring to listen to over and over... I made the mistake of taking that bait once so that's why I mentioned the Systema forum. |

take your cylinder (s) apart and take alook at the red piston and nozzle head. You will see inside the piston a screw. that screw holds the head onto the piston. Unscrew it and locktite it. Thats it.
its normal for some movement between the head and piston but not for the two to become detached.

What about the nozzle, locktite that also?

That screw holds them all together, so lock tite on that screw should be enough. I haven't had any other issues once I completed mine. Once you take it apart, it will all make sense. It really is an easy repair.

That would sort be funny, but likely destructive.

There's so much wrong with locktite'ing the nozzle to the cylinder head. That's the simplest way to describe why not. Just the thought... something would surely rip to pieces. That's not a sound I'd like to hear...

I have seen the nozzle unscrew on one cylinder now. I was having misfeeds which were traced to the front end of the nozzle becoming unthreaded from the rear half. I cranked them back together with a collet and an an allen key pushed thru the cross holes (in the rear) with a dab of loctite. Check to see that your nozzle is well cranked together.
