Indeed that is true. I haven't actually been to a game of airsoft before, and have based my fun round paintball. But after what I've seen, airsoft can do so much more, and you don't have bastards wiping paint off themselves because they're either too unsportsmanlike to call themselves out, or because they have a little problem called an Honour Deficiency.

I am also tired of people denying they're hit even after I spray them with 5-10 paintballs. And then after the game they try and explain to me why my aim was so crap.

I usually employ the following answer to these arseholes: "This expulsion of faeces from your facial sphincter does not interest me."

I hope airsoft will prove a better "fun sport" than paintball, although I do enjoy casual play once in awhile.

I have to confess that I also used to play paintball albeit many many years ago now. I played when it first appeared on the scene. We played with single shot pistols. You could not point the barrel down otherwise your paintball would fall out. We spent a lot of time stalking our quarry and stealth meant everything.

Airsoft is not devoid dishonest people but generally when a person is hit they let you know right away.

And to agree with everyone else, trouser belt for your trousers, duty belt worn over your untucked jacket.

Ooh, that looks crisp and neat, though. Are those BDUs?

That looks tucked in to me.

If someone has a picture of an airsofter with untucked shirt, please do put this in. I've been scrounging the forums for it, but so far I can't really tell whether they're tucked in or untucked lol.

I think the overall unspoken rule many geardos follow is that the older stlye BDUs you tuck on, with the newer ACUs, do not.

Feel free to jump in if anyone disagrees.

Like I've said.. I don't tuck in my fleck. The WWII people don't tuck in their tops either. That's the way it is on the axis side anyway. I think it's the same for the allied. It often depends on the cut of the shirt for if it needs to be tucked in.. It's whatever is most comfortable..

The few times we've worn our ACU's out here we were tucking them in like the old school stuff.

Hmm... i just tried on my Woodland BDUs. They have 4 pockets on them, and the bottom pockets are placed in such a way that you have to leave your shirt untucked in order to utilise them. I have also checked my Multicam ACU by Propper, and found a label on the inside of the shirt that says "Wear outside of trousers."

Guess you guys were right all along. You DO untuck the shirt. You DO wear the Duty or Blast Belt outside of the ACU trousers.

Woah. I must be a total noob.

Ya the few times I have worn my ACU I always tucked in the shirt. The main reason I do it is to keep my first line clear from any obstructions etc. Bottom line though really....work it out for yourself.

Many of us modify our BDU jackets. We remove the lower pockets on the jacket and relocate them on the arms. This leaves us with the same amount of storage, and we can tuck the jackets in. I can't speak on behalf of ACU-wearers, but it's certainly a trend among the older patterned jackets.

Hmm interesting, I just find the new stuff not as smooth to tuck in, but maybe I have gained some belly girth since woodland
