simple 1 point sling

I made a simple 1 point sling from parts I got at Canadian Tire,
in the camping section, 1 inch black web strap and some fastex buckles.

Less than $10 ... I have the "female" part of the buckle on the sling and have attached the "male" part of the buckle on each of my weapons. I bought extra buckles so I could leave a "male" buckle half on each weapon.. Now I put on the sling.. clip on the weapon I want and go. I have one on my P90, MP5, AK,..

The quick release is handy when you want to set down your weapon. Also I find the one point sling is ideal for CQB as it allows shouldering to the right and the left shoulder, critical for CQB.

I also prefer the 1 point attachment for patroling.. you can snug the sling up to keep the weapon close the the shoulder.. but the sling can take the weight of the weapon when you need one handed tasks, ( signaling, Radio, pushing up or lowering yourself to ground) anything that conserves energy when "out there" will keep you effective longer.

If you can't figure out how to hook up a 3 points sling maybe you shoulden't have one...

They are sh*t simple to hook up.

yanchan, there was a thread about installing 3 point slings in the gear section, do a search
