Yeah! Darn those retailers for not including smart chargers in airsoft packages! It's almost as if batteries aren't included in some, or that they're expensive to import, and shouldn't be included in the original retail price!

Back on topic: you still need to verify if the batteries are the problem or the wiring job you did. Since you haven't conclusively proven either one, or both, you can't blame the retailer for selling you something that wasn't defective, and you were the one that caused your own suffering and malfunctioning of the gun.
