Won't be the first time I've seen it happen.

Hey War-lock, I'm sorry I couldn't give you better advice over the phone. It's like trying to fix a car over the phone.

It's good to hear the motor is sorta working for you and you do not have a electrical problem.

A improperly placed piston will either cause the mechbox to not cycle or the gears to spin freely. Debris somewhere in the gearbox could preventing the motor from cycling the gears. Thus the motor gets stalled causing a short, the clicking sound you are hearing is the motor trying to turn the Bevel gear.

As far motor connector it's a design flaw I find with V2s. The quick fix is with a pair of needle noise pliers to lightly crimp the connector onto the motor contact tab.

I'm personally a V3 guy and prefer my wires soldered to the motor connector, but if I do that on a V2, some people might rip me a new one.

The most correct fix is to remove the old connector and crimp or solder a new one back in.

I have no ideal what you mean about heat shrink tubing hectic we are talking about the crimp connectors used to connect the motor wire to the motor terminal.
