Some retailers prefer certain forms of payment because it offers protection for both parties. And other ways to track payments made other than seeing a transaction number in your bank account.

I think most of the retailers on here do accept DD. While I also accept it, it's still not my ideal payment method, as I do not get any sort of automatic notification. It's on the person depositing to send me a message to let me know it's been deposited, and then I'd need to take the time to go in to the account to confirm receipt. Because of these extra steps, it's not a preferred payment method, but the option is always there for those who prefer not to send EMT, or can't meet in person to drop some cold hard cash in my paws.

Cash is great "in person", I didnt want to give the wrong impression. I'm talking about the lack of online options to those who are outside the normal capacity. Almost everyone I know has multiple bank accounts, multiple credit cards, and/or Paypal; which in turn gives them access to direct deposit, EMT, etc.
