I am going to start wearing nothing but suits to games, maybe with some extra pockets on the inside for mags.

Serioulsy, in a skirmish, it's ok. In a milsim, follow the dresscode or stay home.

Skirmish, no need to justify what you bring to the game in terms of gear, or not. It's a come as you are, with what works for you type thing. Some are comfortable dressed in civilian grubbies.. some find the full-on kit-out helps with the immersion aspect. Do your own thing..
I firmly fall in the latter category, even though i am about as useless as they come to airsoft playing a "soldier" role.. I'll freely admit that i'm just a 45 year old "kid" who didn't get to play "army" much as a 8-12 year old. Playing dress-up, helps. No need to be exclusionary at the skirmish level from an investment in gear perspective, if all you can affordably bring to the game is your guns and the appropriate safety gear. The ability to have fun and play nice with others, is what is important. Now, if you play in a pink-tutu, even at the skirmish level, that's another thing entirely.. |

Well...you're pretty rude. I'm not trying to justify anything, just see who does the same. I have proper gear for MilSim and field games. I don't know why people are starting to get uppity or rude. |

I can't believe no one's asked where to find people playing in shorts, goggles, and a tank top.
I want to light one of those screwballs up; make them dance!

He did say he has a kit for outdoors..
Anyways, indoor games aren't that important unless you're in a themed game. I wouldn't suggest going in t-shirt and shorts like other guy though, not gonna have a good time! If there's a dress code, follow it; if not, do whatever you want. Lighting someone up cause of the kit they wear is unsportsmanlike and should get you ejected and perhaps banned :P

You're right. I just read in the book of five rings don't light up someone because of what they wear (unless they wear shorts and a tank top).

Duffman already beat you to that... Last I saw tho, he's just down to pink drawers and stylish loafers at games.
