Only issues I've had with King Arms Mags is the inserts coming out while I eject the magazine. This happens rarely if at all and is easily fixed with tape around the innards to create more friction on the shell. That having been said they are great mags and are just as reliable as TM.

My experience with the King Arms Metal 68rd Mags was a positive one, I used to have about 10 of these.. never had a feeding issues or any issue for that matter.

The metal has a great feel compared to the plastic AEG mags but the weight is considerably more. I used to run with half KA Metal 68rd's and half Star 30rd's to even it out..

I had a G&P Noveske Metal lower at the time and although they weren't an absolutely tight fit in the magwell I never had any problems.

on a similar note, can anyone provide recommendations for the most ideal plastic mid cap mags for a G&G M16A3? will these mags be suitable?

Anyways those King Arms Magazines will impress you. If you got the plastic ones, it's a shame they even call them plastic. They are extremely sturdy and when i had my spr i had the VN Mags. With a slight slight cut to the mag retention lip, they fed flawlessly 100% of the time. They really are the best midcaps out there.
+1

I am up to 10 for my MP5 and they are consistent performers.

The MAG brand M4 Mags are great, I bought a box of 8 a few months ago and they still work, now keep in mind they're plastic so they won't stand as much abuse compared to metal ones.

KA metal mags for G3 need some work with a hammer to fit in a CA G3.
less bad than the plastic realcaps ones (no idea what the brand is) that don't fit and you can't deform.
