Propane Problems

Hey there,

Well, I've had this problem ever since I started using GBBs. When I try to fill both of my GBB's magazine with the new madbul propane adapter and the old one, propane just spurts out everywhere, leaving my mag without gas or with very little gas in it. I know its not a problem with the magazine because it happens with all four and when I play at XT, they fill up my mags without problems.

Anyone have any idea what the heck is wrong?

Thanks.

Yeah, I forgot to add that. I use AI silicone oil in the mags.

Well if other propane adapters work with your mags and Madbull don't, then perhaps you should invest in a different adapter like the AI model instead.

I'm pretty sure that XT uses the Madbull one too though (when you play there they fill your mags), as they sell it in their store as well. Maybe I'll send them a email.

You should use AI adapter... Why would you buy another make? Buy Canadian!

I just looked and they both look fine. Even right when I got them I've had problems.

I actually had a AI adapter but it fell on the ground and the tip of it bent and I needed a propane adapter quick so I got the Madbull one at XT. Then I got the 'new' Madbull one because in the description it said that you only need to put 1-2 drops for the whole tank, but both aren't working for me.

I have one of the older Madbull adapters. It works fine with all my guns except my KSC Glock mags. Seems like the nozzle doesn't mate well with my mag valves. I can still fill the mags, but get a lot over 'spray'.

I just use the AI plastic adapter. Works like a charm on all my guns, comes with the silicone oil and a duster adapter, and is a Canadian product produced by one of our own forum members. Makes it an all around winner for me...

ok i just went through this with my propane adapter. take it off of you propane tank, carfully. now look in the end of the tank to see if a small white plastic piece and o ring are there. mine seperated from the tank and i ended up having to add an extra oring or two on top to hold everything down.

basically what is happening is the o ring is not holding in the gas and it is all bypassing the fill nozzel
