SR-16 Accuracy Problems
Hey guys
So I just got a tm Sr-16 (all internals stock) and for some reason it is shooting far too low, and off to the left. I have tried adjusting the sights, and the hop-up multiple times, but that only does so much. I am a little new to airsoft so if anyone has some suggestions that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

did you buy this gun brand new or used?
What kind of bb's are you using? (brand/weight)

I bought it used from the classified section, and I am using 0.2g velocity arms premium grade bb's

Have you cleaned the inner barrel and hop-up rubber.....its amazing what a dirty barrel will do to your gun.
Does your hop up bucking work, when you turn the hop-up up does it make the bb curve upwards. How far does it shoot, 60,70,80 ft.... The more information you give us the better we can help you... Beach

I agree with more information:
There was a guy on the forums not too long ago complaining about accuracy problems and how his hop wasn't working... it turned out he was in his basement shooting at a target 15 feet away. |

Thanks for the help guys! I am shooting at about 50ft. I followed your directions and cleaned the hop-up rubber and inner barrel, it seems to be shooting higher now, but it still shoots a few inches to the left....

if the actual hop-up rubber is not seated correctly, it will cause the bbs to drift to a specific side (or so i heard)

when you put the inner barrel and hop-up back together did you make sure it was aligned properly. Because if the barrel is not in the right place....with the notch at the end of the barrel and the hop-up bucking aligned properly than the bb will shoot either left or right. Also if its windy outside that will affect the trajectery of the bb, and a stock gun with stock hop-up rubber will shoot like that....bb's straying left or right, and welcome to V2 mechbox.
