I just wonder why you guy worry so much carry gun case or bag to public transportation. I never got any problem with the cops at all. As long as you didn't take out your gun in public then it's done.

I usually carry my gun bag on my back take the bus go to the game at local paint ball field and usually take the Metro with the cops as well, none of them never ask me what inside the bag. So no worry at all.

For the gun, I recommend the 9.1.1 tactical, I had one and it's never disappoint me since I got it.

Also the hard gun case, I would recommend something like that.

or if you have cash to burn then get a pelican case.

Short soft square type case is great for game day, especially if stacking 6 in a trunk. The big old odd shaped hard cases aren't the most convenient thing to haul in bunches.

For shipping or travel the locking hard cases are a treat.

I use tote box, no body bother ask u what is inside your tote. it can be snapping turtle all they know.

once saw one boy (I suspect underage but Xtreme tactics approve) carry his Cabelas Kraken in food plasitc bag, why XT approve this, I never know.

Would that hard case be able to hold 2 rifles? I'm thinking it'd hold a rifle and a pistol but the website says "Safe shot double gun case with thick wall polypropylene construction".

I'm however still thinking of getting the cheaper $15.99 Gun Case simply because I don't have a use for a soft case at all. I'm pretty sure a lot of people don't have a use for one either so I'd be stuck with a Soft Case that sits there, not fun. :-(

I managed to luck out on Ebay, the brand was Mezzi. I bid one from canada, black aluminum double sided 44inch case. After tax, shipping and exchange rate (the used USD even tho it came from BC) i paid under $150CAD. I has the foam which i cut out, with the PTW and stuff on one side, and mags and batteries on the other. I carry most stuff in my case. Works pretty slick, I would recomend it.

Yeowch... Under $150 CAD, but probably not much lower than $150 CAD most likely... Still, Was hoping for <$20/$25 for a gun case.

hmm ! 20 $ or 25 $ gun case. I think, you don't need to think much. just go grab one from Canadian Tire or Cabela. They have case with that price range. What The Acer is recommend you is make from aluminum, not like just plastic like the one from Canadian Tire. Even my case that has only 1 side worst almost 150 $ shipped too.

I use the Flambeau cases from CT. I have both the single and double cases. For the price, they can't be beaten. If you really want to not attract attention, then a hard guitar case is the way to go for covert transportation and maximum protection.

To be honest. Providing I don't get stopped by Cops or kicked off the bus or something, anything is fine really. Just went with some friends to buy the $16 Single Flambeau as I only plan to have a GR16. Doubt I'd be carrying anything else, and it's not as if it's shape is too bad.

As long as I can carry it from place to place without having a Cop down my throat, I'm fine.

I've been using the cheap one from crappy tire. But When I go out in public, I place the case in my snowboard bag. There's some outline, but not enough to raise any eyebrows.
