New Battery Problem
Just bought two new Tenergy 9.6 V 1400 maH Mini Batteries and I charged one with the smart charger that it came with out of the box, full charge, shot a couple of bbs let it stand for 4-5 hours came back and the battery is dead, any ideas???

its a dud, buy sanyo or firefox batteries, personal opinion.
i also have had tenergy battery problems in the past |

Turns out that the smart charger included isn't really that smart. Initially charging would stop after 20-30 minutes on 0.9 A setting leaving the battery only slightly charged. I tried to remedy this by changing the sequence of connections (i.e. plugging in the battery before the wall adapter) and the battery charged to the point of near explosion. Don't buy Tenergy smart Chargers...

Get Elite mini batteries. www.cheapbatterypacks.com has 1500 Mah elite mini packs, and they're awesome. I use two of them, had them for a few years, and they both work great.
Also, invest in a good charger. The NPV charger from bbbastered works great.

I have bought several tenergy packs in the pasts. All were nimh. I bought 2 minis and two large. They were all pretty much shit.

I think I might have the same charger as you.
I have 8.4v large battery. But my battery still runs very fine and top notch for me, also the charger. The charger also cuts off when the battery is fully charged.. |

yeah battery is ammo too, you want to buy a good solid one and charge it properly just like you want to use good BBs.
you might also have a short in your gun emptying the battery...
