KJW M9 broken part, what's it do?

I just bought a used M9 and I found that there is a broken part inside it. It's part number 14 on this part diagram http://www.kicbbgun.com.tw/menu/kj-m9s.jpg

I think it's just for keeping the outer barrel in place but I thought I should ask here and see if anyone knows, I was told the gun fires properly anyway. Anyone know what that part is for and if I need to replace it? If I do need to replace it where can I get it?

John.

Yeah I sold him the gun. I offered to refund but we're both hoping it can be fixed somehow. When I had the gun, it fired fine on propane - I bought it from my local airsoft rep a few months ago (who claimed it was in mint condition) and only fired two mags through it.
I don't know THAT much about airsoft guns so I, took the rep's word for it assumed in was in good condition when and sold it. Had I known it was broken, I wouldn't have sold it or I would have at least fixed the gun and then sold it. Anyways, I agree to a refund!

Have you tried glue? I used super glue on mine, works perfect now.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about part N 15 (spring). I've never seen those parts online, but maybe you guys will be lucky. If you do find a source of replacement parts for KJ let us know.

Hi, seeing this issue has been brought up, i'm having issues with my kjw m9 aswell. The problem is i was fiddling (yeah i know its looking for trouble). I took the right pistol grip cover off, to find that a spring jumped out. (number 65 on the diagram). I worked out that it holds number 64 up against the slide, allowing the hammer to mechanically lock to the trigger. Does anybody know which way the spring needs to go back in?

I know this is an obscure question, just hoping that someone with previous knowledge of this problem comes across this :P

Thankyou

Ok this is as good as I can figure it out...

The yellow is the "spring" (Part 65)like half a paper clip thingy.

It tucks UNDER the blue.(PART 64)..looks not right but it seems to be ok.

the blue is the trigger return I think and the yellow spring pushes the blue up. Thats it.

My GBB skillz are probably as leet as my Photoshop skillz so beware.

I had the same problem. Scroll down a few picks and you will see how to install the spring.
