Canadian kit.....scarf?
I just aqquired a really big olive colored scarf from a freind of mine. She said she got it while attending Army cadets.
This thing is BIG...about 6 feet long, 2 feet wide. Made of really thin stretchy cotton material. Apparently it came with instructions, on how do use it as a headwrap, tournequet, sling, splint....etc. Has anybody else ever seen these things around? I'd like to get another. Think shemagh...but bigger and all one color.

I have one as well, Just a CF issue scarf as far as I know. Bought it at JT's surplus in Ottawa for $8. Was great for the winter.

If you were in the Army you'd tear it in two, then turn each in as tattered to 2 different supply clerks.
That also works for many other pieces of kit as long as you don't get greedy. |
